Space / Astronomy

Ultra-high-precise processing technology which supports astronomical observation.

01|Optical Satellite

Manufactured polished large-diameter optical mirrors on board the Advanced Optical Satellite (ALOS-3), also measured the length between optical mirrors, and adjustment of alignment.

Crystal Optics machined and polished roughly Clearceram in advance of finishing Large Diameter Mirror mounted on ALOS-3 called DAICHI-3 and measured the distance between mirrors and adjusted alignment by one of the biggest CMM in the world, which has measuring range X 3.000- Y 6.000- Z 2.000mm.

Guaranteed the accurate position of each mirror of multiple mirrors with mechanical accuracy by one-chucking processing and ensured the relative position accuracy of multiple off-axis aspherical surfaces.

03|Tokyo Atacama Observatory Project (TAO)

Manufactured vary shaped mirrors for mid-infrared imaging spectroscopic camera MIMIZUKU
